How do I report a problem?Just go to the bottom of this page, click on "Contact" and tell us what's on your mind. How do I give feedback on improving the site?The same way you report a problem. Just go to the bottom of this page, click on "Contact" and tell us how to make Stroome better. Do I have to fill in all the information on my profile?No, just your name, e-mail and password. But you are encouraged to fill in as much as you can so colleagues can find you more easily! How do I edit my occupation?Click on 'My Account' on the top right of your screen, then click edit and find the 'Occupation' field. Make sure to remember to click 'Save' at the bottom of the form to save your occupation or else it will not update. How do I change my e-mail address?Click on 'My Account' on the top right of your screen, then click edit and find the 'E-Mail' field. Make sure to remember to click 'Save' at the bottom of the form to save your E-Mail or else it will not update. All notifications will now be sent to this new e-mail address. How do I change my password?Click on 'My Account' on the top right of your screen, then click edit and find the 'Change Password' fields. Make sure to remember to type in the same password twice to confirm and then click 'Save' at the bottom of the form to save your password or else it will not update. How do I remove a colleague from my account?Click on 'My Account' then click the 'remove' link next to the colleague name you wish to remove. How do I cancel a pending colleague request from my account?Click on 'My Account' then click the 'cancel' link next to the colleague name you wish to cancel the pending request. How do I edit my profile picture?Click on 'My Account' on the top right of your screen, then click edit and find the upload profile picture field. Click 'browse' and find a picture file on your computer to upload. Make sure to remember to click 'Save' at the bottom of the form to save your Profile Picture or else it will not update. Why isn't my profile picture updating if I uploaded a new one?Please refresh your browser on your 'My Account' page and it should download the updated picture. If not you have to clear your browser cache and reload the page. Please consult your web browsers documentation if you need more assistance. How do I cancel my Stroome account?Please email support@stroome.com to have your account removed from the system. How do I upload a clip from the Dashboard?Click the upload clip link on your dashboard How do I create a Project from the Dashboard?Click the create project button on your Dashboard. How do I Remix a clip from the Dashboard?You may only remix clips that are sent to your playlist from your colleagues on the dashboard. These clips are represented by a thumbnail and a hyperlink that you can click. You must first navigate to the individual clip page by clicking on the thumbnail or clip hyperlink and then the remix button in the video player that appears. How do I Remix a project from the Dashboard?You may only remix projects that are sent to your playlist from your colleagues on the dashboard. These projects are represented by a thumbnail and a hyperlink that you can click, or as an 'alert.' You must first navigate to the individual project page by clicking on the thumbnail or project hyperlink and then the 'remix' button in the video player that appears. How do I make a comment on the video loaded in the Dashboard?Simply just type in the white box that appears below the video player then click 'submit'. It should appear instantly. How do I find a clip made by a colleague if I know their username?Just click on the 'Clip Pool' tab in the upper right hand corner and type in your colleague's username in the producer field and click 'search'.
Can I find a clip made by a colleague if all I know is their E-Mail address?Unfortunately, no. E-mail addresses are part of a user's profile. But you need to know their name first. How do I view a clip from the search results?Either click on the thumbnail or on the producer's name. Both will take you to a separate page that will let you view the clip. How do I add a clip from the search results into one of my projects?Actually, you can't take a clip you find in the 'Clip Pool' and move it into a project directly. Instead, you will want to use the search functionality in the Kaltura Editor when you remix your project. All Stroome clips are located under the 'Kaltura' tab. Search for them there. Who do I contact if the clip I uploaded is not appearing in the search results?Please contact support@stroome.com for missing clips. How do I view my current colleagues?To view your current colleagues, click on the 'Network' tab, then click the hyperlinked text Network written in the Network Note.You will be taken to another page that lists all your current colleagues. You can remove them from this page, too, if you'd like. How do I search for more colleagues?To search for more colleagues, click on the 'Network' tab, then click the 'Increase Network' tab. All of the Stroome users will appear. At the bottom of the page is a tab that lets you click through and do a manual search. If you know the actual name of the person or their e-mail, you can search for them in the 'Name' or 'Email' fields at the top of the page. How do I view my pending colleague requests?Click on the 'Network' tab. Your pending colleague requests appear under the heading, 'Relationship Requests'. Or you may click on 'My Account' at the top near the Global Search Box which takes you to your profile and shows both your current colleagues as well as pending colleague requests. How do I view a current colleague's profile?To view a current colleague's profile, click on the 'Network' tab, then click the hyperlinked text 'Network' written in the Network Note, then click their hyperlinked username next to their profile picture or click on their profile picture. How do I remove a colleague from my current colleague list?To remove a colleague from your current colleague list, click on the 'Network' tab, then click the hyperlinked text 'Network' written in the Network Note, then click 'remove' next to the colleague with whom you would like to remove your relationship. How do I view my own profile?To view your own profile you may click on 'My Account' at the top near the Global Search Box. This will take you to your profile. How do I edit my own profile?To edit your own profile you may click on 'My Account' at the top near the Global Search Box. This takes you to your profile, where can then click the 'edit' tab and make the changes.
